Spare a thought when choosing your Christmas tree this year because for some it means life or death.  

Right now hundreds of men, and women, are risking life and limb to remove a small inconvenience from our Christmas celebrations.

See photos of the renovation of the school in Georgia in progress. Fairwind raised £10,000 with MA Assist towards this renovation in the poor cone picking area of Ambrolauri, where Fair Trees sources its cones and supports the local community.

On 30^th June 2012 Teresa Owen from Fairwind and Paul Hayman, MD of MA Assist, travelled to Odense in Denmark to hand over the £10,000 they raised to renovate the local school in Tlugi, Ambrolauri, the remote and poor cone picking region of Georgia.

In May earlier this year, the Fair Trees charity in Georgia (The Bols Xmas Tree Fund) provided a mobile health and dental clinic for the 386 children (2 to 18 years old) of the Ambrolauri region in Georgia. Read about the results from this clinic and how life changing it was for these children.
