Hand-stitched wool cushions

All of our hand-stitched cushion covers are individually produced by skilled craftspeople in Kashmir using traditional chain-stitch techniques dating back to the 15th century. Naturally dyed woollen threads are hand-stitched onto cream cotton fabric using the best quality wool and cotton. These handcrafted cushions are a unique combination of traditional skills and western design that helps support artisans in remote areas. Our range of handmade cushion covers is modern and colourful and is a perfect example of fair trade textiles that are desirable and contemporary. These wool cushion covers are washable in the washing machine, but we recommend that you use non-biological detergents and that the cushion cover is dried flat. Please do not place the cushion covers in direct sunlight as this may cause fading of the natural dyes.
